NPLS Photo Gallery ---- Guidelines

In NPLS' Photo Gallery double-click on the relevant thumbnail to enter a particular section.

You will be able to download the photos from the gallery (one at a time) for your own personal use.

The following notes should help you to find your way around the gallery.

You will start off seeing all the photos "thumbnail" size.  There are a number of pages of thumbnails - clicking on Show All will reveal them all.  If you want to see just one photo but larger size then double-click on its thumbnail.  You can then click on the right-arrow key to move to the next photo, and/or the left-arrow key to move back to the previous photo.

If you hover your mouse near the top-left corner of the larger size photo 3 options are revealed, as follows:

·        Send Link allows you to email a link to that to photo to someone else

·        Dim The Lights gives a larger version of the photo and removes the captions and all the clutter on the screen.  You can arrow left and right from here.  Pressing the Esc key takes you back to the slightly smaller size photo

·        Download Original will let you save the full resolution photograph to your PC so that you can save it there and/or print it.  Downloading a photo will take a few minutes, depending on the speed of your internet service, because each photo is a large file.

Near the top of the screen there is a Slideshow option which will open a separate window (or tab, depending on your browser) and will run through each of the photos in rotation.  If you hover near the bottom of the screen (above the Windows bar) a number of options will be revealed - for example - to slow down or speed up the slideshow, to move forwards or backwards and to pause/restart.  To come out of the slide show window (or tab) click on the "X" at the top right corner.
